Where are the cards once they have been transferred into the game?

The cards are in our PGGAMEWALLET wallet on AtomicHub.

The cards will show up in the game once the transaction has been assigned irreversible status (usually takes about 2-3 minutes). You can check the status on WAX BLOKS.

Is it possible to get the cards back to the WAX wallet?

Yes, just like you did, using app.pagangods.io. The user manual is a couple of questions above.
